Marla Coats

I started off my career teaching at a few colleges and universities, and I loved interacting with students, coaching them to develop their academic skills in communication. Teaching gave me a front-row seat to how other people think and learn, and I grew to love my role of coming alongside students to help them individualize their paths towards success. This combined with my experience in office management is what propelled my interest in the field of Scrum.

I have always enjoyed bringing order to chaos, providing clarity in the midst of confusion. I love figuring out solutions to make things not only more efficient but also more enjoyable for everyone involved. I thrive in situations where I can support others as they work to set and achieve goals. As a leader, I value the collaborative process, and I truly enjoy helping others develop frameworks that lead to success.
